The Denver Nuggets and Nicola Jokitz finished their NBA season early Thursday morning following a 1-4 loss in the series against Golden State.
Either way, at least according to several U.S. reports, the Nuggets have no plans to take a long break in the summer and plan to make their Serbian star, Nikola Jokic, an unprecedented offer.
According to reports, the Denver joker will receive an offer in the next two weeks to extend his contract for another five years in which he will earn $ 254 million - the largest contract in the history of the best league in the world.
Nikola Jokic is expected to sign a 5-year, $ 254M extension with the Nuggets in the off-season, the richest contract in NBA history.

If both sides reach an agreement and Yukic does indeed pocket the astronomical sum, he will overshadow the Milwaukee contract of Yannis Antocompo, who signed a five-year contract for $ 228.2 million.
And that of Steph Kerry, who signed with Golden State on a contract extension for $ 215 million.
Jokitz himself does not outright reject the offer, hinting early in the morning that he does see his future in Denver: "There is no doubt that if the offer comes, I will accept it, I very much like the Nuggets' organization."
