Munich – Before the away trip to Mainz, one thing is clear: For FC Bayern, the season is over in sporting terms.

Munich are the champions, they had to painfully say goodbye to the remaining competitions.

The same applies to 1. FSV Mainz 05 - Bo Svensson's team has already managed to stay up in the league and no longer has a chance of international places, which was never the goal.

Both teams have the chance to try out a few things.

The Bayern bosses reportedly met with Lewandowski adviser Pini Zahavi at a Munich restaurant on Wednesday.

What came out of it is not known.
