Maccabi Haifa is having a hard time coming to terms with the punishment suffered by the team in the Football Association's tribunal, which closed the north stand in the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The economic damage, due to the inability to sell tickets to other stands (subscribers will be transferred to the southern stand) is close to one million shekels.
"Throughout the season we have paid hundreds of thousands of shekels for fines," they said at the club. "A percentage of the budget of some of the Premier League teams. This is conceit at the highest level, a basic lack of understanding of the situation and football in the country, a disconnect bordering on ignorance."
The helplessness in Haifa is great and the club is considering turning to other courts to change the evil of the decree.
By the way, this coming Monday, Bloomfield will receive more than 7,000 greens for the game against Hapoel Tel Aviv. All 10-11 stands were sold to the visiting crowd and tickets were also transferred to the 13th main stand.
