Hapoel Tel Aviv announced this morning (Sunday) that midfielder Shai Elias stood before an internal disciplinary committee and expressed remorse for the incident in the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv last Monday.
"Shai admitted that he acted irresponsibly and that it was an emotional act and he is sorry about that," the Red Club said.
The management of the club decided to fine the contact with the maximum fine set in the bylaws, which stands at NIS 8,000.
