FC Bayern has to admit defeat against Mainz 05 after a false start.

New replacement Sven Ulreich is having a bad day.

This applies to the entire defense.

The notes for the Munich.

Munich/Mainz – It wasn't a masterful game: FC Bayern flatteringly lost the away game at FSV Mainz 05 only 1:3 (1:2).

Jonathan Burkardt (18th minute), Moussa Niakhaté (27th) and Leandor Barreiro (57th) scored the goals for Rheinhessen, who could have added a fourth or even fifth goal.

FCB striker Robert Lewandowski (33rd) only managed to score the goal in the meantime.

It was a used afternoon for Bayern.

Neuer representative Sven Ulreich made a buck and the defense of the German Bundesliga record champions wobbled again.

The notes for the Munich.

Bundesliga: Bayern make a mistake in Mainz – the notes for Munich

Sven Ulreich:

Didn't get the corner at the first post when Mainz had a huge chance (2nd minute).

The new substitute served the zero fives the 0: 1 with his cross ball directly to assist provider Dominik Kohr.

The 33-year-old Swabian didn't look particularly good at the 0:2 either.

Was it his last game in FCB dress?

grade 4

Benjamin Pavard:

Standing a meter away from goal scorer Jonathan "Johny" Burkardt at 0:1.

The Frenchman tried rather sluggishly to keep the young German striker from scoring.

The same was true for the 1-3, when the Frenchman unluckily deflected Leandro Barreiro's shot into the goal.

A courageous tackle in his own penalty area (63rd).

grade 5

Niklas Süle (up to the 79th minute):

Hesitantly followed the express counterattack to the Mainz lead by the nimble Burkardt.

Had to do hard work against the 21-year-old centre-forward of the 05ers - was usually only second winner.

grade 5

Lucas Hernández (up to the 67th minute)

: Like the entire FCB defense, left a shaky impression.

In the third Mainz stroke by Barreiro, the world champion did not get into the duel in time.

For example: After an hour, the 26-year-old had just won every second duel (51 percent).

Was duped by Karim Onisiwo with a simple hook trick (61st).

grade 5

Scores for FC Bayern: Alphonso Davies does not find the turbo

Alphonso Davies:

In the first half hour, his left side of defense looked like an open flank, through which the Rheinhessen were able to repeatedly attack.

The Canadian, who was actually so dynamic, couldn't keep up with the third goal.

There was no sign of his speed this time.

grade 5

Joshua Kimmich:

Mainz captain and goalscorer Niakhaté took on after this buddy Goretzka (9th) cleared rustically.

Was the only one from Munich who brought halfway structure into the game of the "Reds".

At the same time, however, he was often busy running into empty spaces between the boxes.

grade 5

Leon Goretzka (up to 46 minutes):

Cleared early by Mainz captain and goalscorer Niakhaté.

When the international was on the ground, colleagues rushed over to scold him.

According to Kicker

, the 27-year-old national player

only won 40 percent of his tackles when he was substituted at break and had a manageable pass rate of 43 percent.

grade 4

Scores for FC Bayern: Marcel Sabitzer like a foreign body

Marcel Sabitzer (up to 46 minutes):

The Austrian was largely a foreign body in Bayern's game - again.

Had just 28 touches of the ball at the break and only 16 of 22 passes were received by a team-mate.

Even a duel quota of 100 percent did not help over this passive appearance including shy body language.

Which makes a summer transfer more likely.

grade 5

Serge Gnabry:

Really ignited the turbo for the first time shortly after the break - only then.

After a pass into the interface, the Swabian put the ball dynamically across to Lewandowski (50th) - in vain.

He ran, plowed, fought back - but the Swabians who were said to be willing to emigrate also visibly lacked inspiration against the euphoric zero-fives.

grade 4

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (up to the 67th minute):

Munich had the first really good chance to score after 30 minutes.

Screwed himself up after a Kimmich free-kick and headed the ball to the outer post.

Ultimately, it was the ninth game in a row for the 33-year-old Hanseatic without scoring.

Is that Joker?

Hardly likely.

grade 4

Grades for FC Bayern: Only Robert Lewandowski delivers

Robert Lewandowski:

With his 34th goal of the season to make it 2-1, the Polish super striker kept FC Bayern in the game after a chaotic early phase.

What should increase the pressure on the Munich bosses in the contract negotiations again.

Missed the chance of a possible equalizer in the second half (50th).

Note 3

In the video: Lewandowski departure?

Nagelsmann comments on Bayern's top scorer

Jamal Musiala (from 46th for Sabitzer):

The 19-year-old super talent also seemed rather semi-motivated after winning the championship.

The result: after being substituted on, he only won every fourth (!) duel.

You looked in vain

for a shot on goal in his

kicker statistics.

grade 4

Leroy Sané (from 46th for Goretzka):

Lost the decisive duel before the 1: 3 because he withdrew his foot too carefully.

A throwback to old times?

Usually just followed the Mainzers instead of setting their own accents.

In the closing stages more of a phantom on the pitch than a game decider.

grade 5

Tanguy Nianzou (from 67th for Hernández):

Only spectators at Onisiwo's batter bang (71st).

The 19-year-old central defender joined the collective Munich defense uncertainty.

Arrived too late for a review.

No grade.

Scores for FC Bayern: Regional league striker comes to second Bundesliga use

Gabriel Vidovic (from 67th for Choupo-Moting):

The 18-year-old Croatian U21 international made his second Bundesliga appearance in Mainz.

In the regional league he is the top scorer in the second team with 18 goals, this time the attacker paid the famous "due lesson".

Couldn't put any pressure on the penalty area.

Arrived too late for a review.

No grade.

Josip Stanisic (from 79th for Süle):

After his substitution, he immediately became acquainted with the explosiveness of “Johny” Burkardt, who played like he was intoxicated.

Was involved in the Bavarian damage limitation in the closing minutes.

Arrived too late for a review.

No grade.
