Newton set the world record until the age of 18 and also up to the age of 20. In addition, he became the fourth fastest man in history after only Usain Bolt (19.19 seconds record), Johan Blake (19.26) and Michael Johnson (19.32) set faster times.
Overall this is the eighth best result ever.
Newton participated in the last Olympics in Tokyo and became the youngest person to represent the United States team in athletics competitions since Gene Rayon in 1964.
The one who finished in second place in the run is Joseph Panbola with a time of 19.92.
