Atlético de Madrid has shared a video this Monday on its social networks to make its fans aware of the importance of fighting against bullying.
On the International Day against this practice, still so linked to many educational centers —it causes more than 200,000 suicides a year all over the world—, the rojiblanco club has reinforced with this spot the campaign that it already started three days ago on the website of its Foundation with another video of the same style.
Under the motto “
Defend yourself against bullying
”, both recordings show that the best response to bullying is to act.

In the videos, signed by the Mrs. Rushmore agency, two minors are reprimanded at school by several classmates.
The attacks and teasing seem endless until the rescuer arrives: another minor, this time wearing an Atlético de Madrid shirt, who steps forward and decides to defend the harassed boy and offer him his friendship.
The campaign has been very well received by the world of football, receiving the support of the LaLiga Foundation and thousands of users on the social networks where the video has been shared.
In addition, Atlético de Madrid has announced that the initiative will include awareness talks in collaboration with schools during the next season: “The first team players will collaborate with this initiative.
In addition, the Academy teams will be the first to receive this training”.
But the rojiblanco club has not been the only one to join this initiative.
The Fútbol Club Barcelona has informed through its Foundation that it will make a pioneering and leading tool available to sports entities and families to act against bullying.
With the motto “
Esport sense bullying
” (sport without bullying), the Barça club has shared a detailed protocol with the steps to follow in any situation of bullying that occurs in the educational field.

In the midst of the fight to save the category, Cádiz has also joined this cause and has shared the following message on its social networks to fight against bullying: “Bring out the superhero/superheroine in you!”
In addition, the yellow team has published a free helpline, as well as a Skype channel and a Telegram channel adapted for people with hearing disabilities to report cases of
bullying
or ask for help in this regard.
