Munich – FC Bayern Munich is celebrating again with its fans at Munich’s Marienplatz after the forced Corona break.
As the city of Munich announced on Tuesday, Mayor Dieter Reiter (SPD) will receive the series champion on May 15 (1:30 p.m.) for the title celebration in the town hall.
Afterwards, the team around captain Manuel Neuer and world footballer Robert Lewandowski will present themselves to the fans with the championship trophy on the balcony of the town hall.
Most recently, this traditional party was canceled twice because of the corona pandemic.
On the day before the championship celebration, coach Julian Nagelsmann's team will be visiting VfL Wolfsburg for the last game of the season.

FC Bayern: Championship trophy will be handed over after the game against VfB Stuttgart
Bayern will get the championship trophy next Sunday.
After the home game against VfB Stuttgart, who are threatened with relegation, captain Neuer receives the trophy in the Allianz Arena from the new DFL Managing Director Donata Hopfen.
FC Bayern is at least verbally under pressure against VfB Stuttgart.
"It doesn't serve the Bundesliga or the competition," criticized Hertha coach Felix Magath after FC Bayern's 3-1 defeat in Mainz.
Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann described Magath's statements as "very clever." Nagelsmann would also prefer to raise the championship trophy after a win, and Magath will know that too.
