FC Bayern Munich went down in Mainz without a murmur.
After the game, some of the stars went straight to Ibiza for a championship holiday, with permission from above.
Update from May 1, 4:30 p.m .:
Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic commented on the tz request for the Ibiza vacation: “Last week the players informed us that they would like to spend the two training-free days in the group in Ibiza.
We accepted this as a team-building measure.”
The team would have set even higher goals this season and have been very busy with themselves and their future path since being eliminated from the Champions League.
Salihamidzic continued: "We think that's positive.
As a player, I learned how strength can grow from defeat.
Such joint action by the team can be an important basis here.
It is absolutely clear that our players will give their full professionalism and footballing strength against VfB Stuttgart on Sunday to give our fans a nice end to the season as German champions in their own stadium with a win.”

FC Bayern Munich lost 3-1 at 1. FSV Mainz 05 on matchday 32.
The newly crowned German champion was overrun by the ninth in the table and made a fool of himself with a listless performance.
