FC Bayern Munich went down in Mainz without a murmur.

After the game, some of the stars went straight to Ibiza for a championship holiday, with permission from above.

Update from May 1, 4:30 p.m .:

Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic commented on the tz request for the Ibiza vacation: “Last week the players informed us that they would like to spend the two training-free days in the group in Ibiza.

We accepted this as a team-building measure.”

The team would have set even higher goals this season and have been very busy with themselves and their future path since being eliminated from the Champions League.

Salihamidzic continued: "We think that's positive.

As a player, I learned how strength can grow from defeat.

Such joint action by the team can be an important basis here.

It is absolutely clear that our players will give their full professionalism and footballing strength against VfB Stuttgart on Sunday to give our fans a nice end to the season as German champions in their own stadium with a win.”

FC Bayern make a fool of themselves in Mainz: Stars fly straight after the bankruptcy on party vacation – Salihamidzic

First report from May 1, 2022:

Mainz - That was nothing!

FC Bayern Munich lost 3-1 at 1. FSV Mainz 05 on matchday 32.

The newly crowned German champion was overrun by the ninth in the table and made a fool of himself with a listless performance.

Of course, coach Julian Nagelsmann didn't like that.

Bayern even had to put up with criticism from Hertha coach Felix Magath.

Maybe the stars already had their heads somewhere else?

Not in wet and cold Mainz, but in sunny Ibiza?

According to

information, it went there immediately after the game - party vacation for the champions, with a 1:3 pack in the suitcases!

FC Bayern Munich: Stars apparently flew straight to Ibiza after the Mainz bankruptcy

Munich are free on Sunday and Monday, and training resumes on Tuesday from 11 a.m.

The stars apparently use the two days for a trip to the Balearic Islands.

Of course, a championship has to be celebrated.

The timing may not please some fans, after all, the most recent appearance once again raised questions.

The classic Bayern dominance of the past few years crumbled enormously on a few days this season.

Joshua Kimmich also recognized that after the game in Mainz.

He said: “The performance should give us food for thought.

Of course we became German champions last week.

Nevertheless, this has happened to us far too often this season.

We have to analyze that very clearly so that it doesn't happen again in the next two games and especially in the next season."

Bayern stars on party vacation: some players not included

Has the analysis already started on the plane to Ibiza?

According to the

, the whole team is not part of the master trip, which the bosses Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic are said to have allowed.

Some players were missing when the plane took off south on Saturday evening: Thomas Müller, Niklas Süle, Kingsley Coman, Dayot Upamecano, Bouna Sarr, Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich should not be there.

Maybe the short trip will also help and Bayern will show their championship face again next weekend.

On Sunday, VfB Stuttgart will be visiting the Allianz Arena - after the game, the championship trophy will be presented.

Maybe there will also be news from Robert Lewandowski by then?

The future of the Bayern star is still not secured.

A transfer expert rules out a Lewandowski sale this summer.
