days ago, minutes after the crushing 3-0 defeat to Maccabi Netanya, Maccabi Haifa's locker room was surprisingly quiet even after such a jarring loss.

If anyone thought that coach Barak Bachar would enter the locker room and scold the players, he was wrong.

"There was a very hard silence in the locker room," one actor recalled, "if one has to define in one word what we all felt was 'shock'."

A lot of air was released by the Greens after Be'er Sheva scored only a point out of six possible and the gap is still large.

The professional team of Maccabi Haifa made it clear this morning that they will not allow the players to be complacent following the loss of Beer Sheva's points.

"After the loss in Netanya, no one will be bloated," explains a player in Haifa. "We are very ready for tonight's game."

Bachar, who wanted to keep the players alert, did not practice clear composition, but it seems that San Menachem will be replaced by Jose Rodriguez.

"If it will indeed be as it seems according to the tactical exercises then it is very surprising" stated one of Menachem's teammates.

Coach Barak Bachar and even owner Yaakov Shachar rebuked the players this week for their ability against Netanya.

Shahar, who does not often come to training, made it all the way on the coastal road to "give in" to the players to whom he pays a salary.
