Hapoel Holon took off today (Tuesday) for Spain ahead of the Champions League Final Four, which will take place this weekend in Bilbao.
The team players accompanied by the club members boarded a flight to Barcelona, tonight (Tuesday to Wednesday) they will spend the night in the Catalan city, and will fly tomorrow morning on a connecting flight to Bilbao.
After landing in Bilbao, the team will travel to the hotel designated for the four participating teams, and towards the evening they will arrive at the Bilbao Arena to hold their first practice on the field where the games will take place.
Hapoel Holon will play on Friday in the first semi-final against Tenerife (19:00 Israel time), and in the second semi-final, Ludwigsburg (Germany) and Marsa (Spain) will compete.
About 1,000 fans of the team are expected to arrive in Bilbao to support the team, some of whom will arrive on the two direct flights organized by the team.
