The NBA semifinal series kicked off, and tonight (Tuesday) they met for the first game between the Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks.
During the game there was a moment of controversy when Jay Crowder from the Phoenix Suns went up for a shot while sending a kick that hit the groin of the Mavericks star Luca Doncic.
The judges went to the video to investigate the case, and decided to whistle a normal unsportsmanlike offense against Crowder.

The night before, Golden State Warriors player Drymond Green was suspended from the game against Memphis after he tried to stop a Memphis player and grabbed him by the shirt.
The referees in a super surprising decision, and after a camera check, decided to keep Green away for a second-degree unsportsmanlike offense - meaning immediate dismissal, the player who had a hard time making the decision raged on the parquet before going down to the locker room.
Draymond Green has been EJECTED with a flagrant 2.
Pathetic.
Utterly embarrassing how you get thrown out for this.
Refs continue to dictate outcomes of pivotal games.
Sad.

Green's dismissal by the way did not prevent his team from winning in the closing seconds thanks to a huge basket by Clay Thompson.
Following the judges' decision not to expel Crowder, the Golden State forward tweeted: "I was expelled for less than that."
