Enjoy the sun and beach with your teammates in Ibiza - or go to Legoland with your family?
Robert Lewandowski's leisure plans collide.
Ibiza/Günzburg – With their trip to Ibiza, the FC Bayern stars proved one thing above all: unfortunate timing.
A German championship can and should be celebrated - but after a well-deserved 3-1 defeat in Mainz, it's not well received in many places.
Coach Julian Nagelsmann gave the players Sunday and Monday off, and Hasan Salihamidzic also approved the trip as a team-building measure.
A large part of the team flew to the Balearic Island, according to media reports Robert Lewandowski was also there.
On Monday, however, he posted photos and videos from a trip to Legoland with his wife and children.
FC Bayern: teammates in Ibiza – Pole goes on a family trip
According to information from
Sport1
, the Pole was in Ibiza with the team.
Now there are three possibilities: either the information is wrong or Lewandowski left after a day in Ibiza.
It is possible, but unlikely, that the pictures from Günzburg Legoland are older.
No Bayern player reported from Ibiza on social media.
Lewandowski gave his fans Instagram insights into the Legoland trip with his family, which he apparently liked very much.
"Not sure who had more fun - Anna and I or the kids," he wrote for a photo together at the entrance to the amusement park.
FC Bayern face unpleasant discussions in the event of a Stuttgart defeat
In his Instagram story he shared a video compilation in which his two daughters Klara and Laura played the leading roles.
On Tuesday at 2 p.m. it was time for the Munich players to have free time again, Julian Nagelsmann then awaited the team for training at Säbener Straße.
An accident like that against Mainz should definitely be prevented against relegation candidates VfB Stuttgart on Sunday.
With another unmotivated appearance or even a defeat, the established champions would intervene in the relegation battle - and nobody at Bayern really wants to have this discussion.
