Barbora Votikova says goodbye to the end of the PSG season.

The Czech goalkeeper is suffering from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee and will be out for several months.

A diagnosis carried out on Monday after additional examinations and communicated on Tuesday by the club of the capital.

"Bara" had twisted his left knee by planting his foot in the lawn against OL on Saturday evening in the semi-final second leg of the Champions League (2-1 defeat).

She had left her teammates after several minutes on the pitch before giving way to Charlotte Voll at the break.

The German will therefore keep the Parisian goal in the last four games of the season, three in the championship and a Coupe de France final.

The Frenchwoman Constance Picaud, herself affected by a cruciate ligament at the start of the season, is also back and could have some playing time by the end of the season.

For Votikova, 25, this injury means a few months off.

For her, this European semi-final will have been a nightmare from start to finish.

Barbora Votíková suffers from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee and will not be able to play again by the end of the season with the capital club.

During the first leg on the Lyon lawn, Votikova was guilty of three errors which weighed down PSG, defeated 3-2.

On the return match, she just had time for a parade at the feet of Delphine Cascarino before injuring herself.

Under contract until June 2023, Votikova will return next season in the Parisian jersey.
