Giora Inbar, chairman of the Union of Judges and Brigadier General in reserve, in a letter to Memorial Day: "We must overcome a heated discourse that undermines the resilience of society and the state. We will continue to embrace families."

The State of Israel remembers today (Wednesday) the 24,068 people who fell in the Israeli systems and hostilities in a series of memorial and commemorative events.

The Judges 'Union also does not forget the holy day when the chairman of the Judges' Union, Reserve Brigadier General Giora Inbar, who was appointed to the position about two months ago, sent a letter to all the judges in which he shared his feelings.

Inbar wrote: "Members of the Judges' Association, past and present, I chose to share my strong feelings with you on the eve of Remembrance Day, hearing the sharp siren piercing the silence stand in front of the cold marble plaques and silent monuments in memory of our loved ones. Most precious of all to maintain her security and independence!

"Many heroes have fallen and we are sure that in the hearts and minds of each and every one of us, the names and figures of IDF martyrs who, with courage, dedication and determination, went on without a fight to ensure our lives and security in our beloved country."

“On this day from any other day, we will remember the heavy and terrible price at which our freedom was bought and how precious and important our unity and cohesion is.

As loyal citizens, we must commit on this day to overcoming the internal rifts and any inflammatory discourse that undermines the resilience of society and the state.

"Today, as every day, we will embrace the bereaved families and continue to accompany them in their painful path in dealing with the loss of their loved ones. Finally, I ask to pray for the recovery of the wounded and the return of all soldiers to their homes and families.
