When it comes to places to relax, there are hardly any limits.

Sports stars in particular need to give their bodies enough rest and relaxation after a strenuous season.

This is exactly what Dorothea Wierer is currently doing.

The Italian winter sports star is far away from snow-covered hills and icy trails - the biathlete relaxes in the desert in Oman.

Wierer also features a gorgeous shot in a glamorous white bikini under an outdoor shower by the sea.

In another photo, the three-time Olympic bronze medalist wears a red bikini while being carried by her husband in the pool.

Wierer has been married to Stefano Corradini since 2015.

Also with him she posts a holiday picture in love from Oman.

While at first glance only an avenue of palm trees can be seen at night, a closer look reveals the kissing silhouettes of the two.

At the Winter Olympics in Beijing earlier this year, Wierer won her first individual Olympic medal in the sprint.

The 32-year-old won a total of ten medals at world championships.

She also won the overall biathlon World Cup twice.
