Lakenmacher, Kutschke - recently many strikers have been associated with 1860.
But someone else should come: Meris Skenderovic from 1. FC Schweinfurt.
Most recently, the lions were said to be very interested in Fynn Lakenmacher, 21, from TSV Havelse.
What speaks against it: The contract of the Linsbichler double runs independent of the league until 2023, so a (modest) fee would be due for the conspicuous striker of the relegated team.
So it is quite conceivable that the lions, who are not financially on a bed of roses, have decided on an alternative solution when looking for a Marcel Bär backup.
A name that was traded in winter is suddenly a hot topic again: Meris Skenderovic, 24, from the regional league club 1. FC Schweinfurt.
Recommendation of the Montenegrin: 16 goals in 31 regional league games
According to information from merkur.de and tz.de, the lions agree with the under-21s international of Montenegro (15 appearances, four goals).
The striker, who was born in Mannheim and trained in Hoffenheim, has scored 16 goals in 31 regional league games this season.
He has also crossed swords with 1860 before: on March 7, 2020 - when he came on in the 75th minute of the lion's 3-0 victory in Jena for the relegated prospect.
The first corona lockdown came a few days later - and a long period of uncertainty began not only for Skenderovic.
Sports manager Günther Gorenzel did not want to confirm the second summer transfer (after Tim Rieder) when asked.
His only comment: "I know both players, but I won't say anything about them, except that they are completely different types of players.
We deal with many players and with many player profiles so that we have an optimal mix of squads again next year within the scope of our economic possibilities.
