Formula 1 expert Timo Glock is expecting a successful premiere of the new race in Miami.
Miami – It has been ensured that the metropolis in Florida "becomes a cool, cool venue," said the former Formula 1 driver of the German Press Agency before the Grand Prix on the Miami International Circuit on Sunday (9:30 p.m. / Sky ).
“It will definitely be a highlight in terms of the atmosphere.
All drivers, all teams are excited to go to Miami.
You can expect a great race,” said Glock, who also works as a TV expert for Sky.
The newly built course around Miami's Hard Rock Stadium is set to become the second US location alongside Austin, Texas for years to come.
In the next season, Las Vegas will also be on the racing calendar.
The boom in the racing series in the USA is due to the fact that the American owner Liberty Media has “broke new ground” and is strengthening fan loyalty through greater openness and more entertainment, said Glock.
