FC Schwaig kept up for a half, then FC Unterföhring prevailed.
The second in the table won against the third 5:2 (2:2) on Friday evening and is now unassailable in front of FCS due to the direct comparison won.
Unterfoehring/Schwaig – It was a real top game.
That was also due to the guests, who had the first chances.
Markus Straßer got through twice on the right attack side, but missed the left post each time (5th/8th).
On the other side, FCU surprised with a quick free-kick, Maximilian Siebald took a shot from eight yards, but goalkeeper Franz Hornof made a brilliant save (20').
Shortly thereafter, Ricardo Maier was unlucky when he brought down a Unterfoehringer striker who had already moved out of the penalty area.
Bastian Fischer (23rd) converted the penalty spectacularly: Panenka penalty into the angle.
Schwaig opposed it.
Raffi Ascher coaxed the ball from his opponent, but failed with his shot at goalkeeper Sebastian Fritz (26th).
The Schwaiger striker was successful on the next attempt.
After a cross from Mateus Hones, he climbed up and headed the ball into the net to make it 1-1 (27').
A similar situation gave Schwaig the lead.
Hones crossed again, this time Straßer was there with a header (37th), but the FCU answered promptly.
Attack from the left, sharp ball in the middle, where Siebald scored to make it 2-2 (40th).
And the first half wasn't over yet.
Ascher prevailed, put down for Vincent Sommer, who missed from ten meters.
The second half started with a bang.
Siebald volleyed a cross ball in distress and gave Hornof no chance – the next dream goal (48th).
The guests had barely recovered when a low ball swished across the penalty area and found Fischer.
He didn't hit the ball properly, but it tumbled over the goal line to make it 4-2 (58').
Three minutes later, after a long ball, Fischer tore down Schwaig's better positioned central defender Daniel Fichtlscherer and overcame Hornof with a lob (61').
Nothing could stand against such effectiveness.
Although Maxi Hellinger (63rd), Leon Roth (68th) and Straßer (83rd) had chances to improve the result, it wasn't to be.
The Schwaiger, who had to replace Daniel Stich as well as Nils Wölken and Tobias Jell on the defensive, were by no means disappointed.
