It wasn't meant to be for the Bender twins.
TSV Brannenburg clearly lost the top game against Schloßberg on Wednesday and remains in the district class.
Brannenburg - It was the last chance for TSV Brannenburg.
On Wednesday, Hans Nietzold's team had to compete with the leader.
The hosts from TSV Schloßberg had 42 points on their account, the guests 34. Without the Bender twins there was nothing to be gained in the top game in the end.
Tim Scherfl, Stefan Feicht with an own goal and Bastian Seher created clear conditions in favor of the table leader in the floodlit game.
Things didn't go well for Brannenburg in the second half of the season.
In eight games there was only one win at ASV Flintsbach, a draw in the top game against second-placed SpVgg Pittenhart and six defeats.
In contrast to the preliminary round, in which Sven Bender was still regularly in action.
