Tchouameni is still great
Monstrous.
Thunderous.
Fantastic.
There are no words strong enough to describe Aurélien Tchouameni's performance at Pierre-Mauroy.
Author of a double, he allows Monaco to win 2-1 in Lille, and to temporarily take 2nd place in the championship.
Shortly before the break (43rd), he fired a nice shot with his left foot which lodged in the opposite side netting.
In the second period (75th), the French international (eight caps) fired a cannon shot from 35 meters with his right foot, which ended up on the inside post.
But to sum up Aurélien Tchouameni to his two goals would be to insult him, as he was great in midfield.
13 balls recovered (match record), six interceptions, two fouls suffered, four shots attempted in total for the one who shone.

Badiashile is tough
Behind, Monaco was very little endangered.
Maripan serious, but guilty on the goal of Lille, while Benoît Badiashile was the quiet force of the meeting for the players of the Rock.
Never worry, the central defender exuded serenity throughout the meeting, against Lille anyway too imprecise and too little dangerous.
65 balls touched in total, 77% of duels won (10/13) and two interceptions for the young 21-year-old French defender.
Gomes, let there be light
Opposite, Lille tried a lot during the meeting with 15 shots in total.
Only five attempts on target, too few to worry Alexander Nubel, who spent a rather quiet evening.
On the other hand, the German goalkeeper cannot do much about the goal of young Angel Gomes, his first in Ligue 1. After a pass from Jonathan Bamba, the English midfielder crosses the surface, makes Maripan dance, and delivers a ball love coiled with the right foot into the opposite skylight.
Hit, Nubel remains standing and can only see the damage.
Entering the 56th, in place of Jonathan David, Angel Gomes was one of the great architects of Lille's return to form.
22 balls touched, only two lost, and three key assists.

FLOPS
Djalo alarming
A central defender by trade, the right-hander is wandering all over Lille's defensive line this season.
Established on the left this Friday evening, the Portuguese was in difficulty from the first minutes and throughout the meeting, facing a Vanderson, however not flamboyant.
Tiago Djalo author of an error of assessment offering a corner to the Monegasques (37th) and very close to conceding a penalty (62nd) after an involuntary handball.
He is especially guilty on the Monegasque goal since it is Vanderson who steals the ball from his feet, before starting the counter-attack.
10 balloons lost in total.
Replaced at the 87th by Bradaric.
Ben Yedder is too discreet
The Monegasque captain did not sound the revolt among his people, nor lead his team.
“WBY” too discreet at Pierre-Mauroy this Friday.
Only five balls touched after 25 minutes of play, 21 possessions in total after a long hour of play. Eight balls lost for the one who did not frame his only attempted shot.
Warned after a foul on Weah (65th) just before being replaced by Boadu (66th).
To his credit: he is on the last pass on Tchouameni's first goal (43rd).
