TSV Bernbeuren definitely needs points in the fight to stay up in the district league 2.

The team travels confidently to the away game against Oberweikertshofen II.

Bernbeuren – Michael Boos describes them as the “Weeks of Truth”.

It will be decided by May 28th whether the coach of TSV Bernbeuren can save his team from going into relegation.

"If you get a three, you're quickly in ninth place," is his calculation to leave the relegation zone behind.

This year, however, TSV has never been able to get more than a draw.

It should work out with the first win on Sunday (3 p.m.) with the U21s of SC Oberweikertshofen.

The signs are good.

"They don't care about anything anymore," Boos points out that the sixth-placed team does not have to worry about staying up in the district league 2, nor can they intervene in the fight for the two promotion places.

Since the sports club has a fine team with talented kickers, but also a fairly inexperienced one, the chances for eleventh in the table increase.

"We can score with fight and passion," assures Boos.

He is convinced that his ball kicks bring the greater motivation.

The people of Bernbeuren have to surpass themselves anyway because they will probably be missing important staff.

Patrick Landes and Manuel Jäger have called in sick.

"I assume they won't play," Boos is skeptical that the duo will recover in time.

With Landes he has to do without his string puller in midfield, with Jäger he has to do without a dangerous and fast striker.

"We'll miss them," the coach already admits.
