Although he was the Outstanding Player of the National League with 12 goals and 7 assists and was most signed to the inconceivable immigration of the Bnei Reina to the Premier League, Riff Mesika could not declare last night that he will remain for sure in Reina next season.
"I still do not know what is happening to me," he said, deep in the celebrations of the newcomer who made a splash.
"I will rest for a week and then I will know what is happening to me. Now is the time to celebrate and enjoy the moment."

You are 33 years old next month and have gone through a lot in your career.
What can be said about your club that has made such an extraordinary achievement?
"I think there has not been a team in history that has gone up three leagues year after year after year. It can not be compared to any case that has happened in the past, at least to the case I remember, probably when the team was only formed in 2016. It is a huge achievement."
A year and a half ago, you left Hapoel Hadera in the Premier League and were relegated to the First League for Bnei Reina.
Is this the best decision you've made in your career?
"Usually we know if we made good decisions in retrospect. When I look back today to the previous January there is no doubt that the decision was very borderline, even a gamble. But that today I look at it is without a doubt the most correct decision I have made in my career."
The last period in the country is very difficult from a security point of view and the relations between Arabs and Jews are very complex.
How did you get through this within the group?
"I am a football player who only deals with football. I was taught not to involve politics and sports. There are enough politicians in the country whose job it is. I can say that I have enjoyed Reina very much in the last year and a half."
Mesika believes he will go far.
Coach Adam Adam Hadia (Photo: Maor Elkelsi)
The ascent has been delayed in recent weeks because you were unable to complete the mission.
Weren't you afraid you would lose your Premier League ticket?
"Honestly not. We believed all along that we would do it even though it was a stressful week but overall we knew it was all up to us and we knew to keep what we had been doing all this great season."
Tell me about your coach Adam Adam Hadia.
There are not many Arab coaches who have taken teams to the Premier League.
What's there in Hadia and will it go far?
"Adam is 38, the whole future is ahead of him. I very very much hope that the great achievement we have made will leverage his career because he deserves it. For me Adam has to go far and I believe he will do it."
