A week after the successful European Championships of Israel and especially the women's team, the judo industry continues to produce achievements, even today (Saturday), this time with the future generation, in the European Cup for seniors, which takes place in Sarajevo.
Inbal Shemesh, who competes in the weight category up to 63 kg, won the gold medal, after first defeating rivals from Poland and Azerbaijan, defeating Hungarian cadet champion Brigita Verga in the semi-finals and finishing first, achieving a final victory over Slovenian Kia Sachoster.
Nathaniel Jurobal, won the silver medal in the up to 66kg competition, after surrendering in the final to African champion Muhammad Abdulmawjud, who caused a small incident at the end, after refusing at the end of the fight, to shake the Israeli's hand and received boos from the crowd.
At the same weight, Omar Mann lost the battle for the bronze medal and finished in fifth place, just as he did to Roi Rosen (up to 60 kg) and Maya Leopold (up to 57 kg), after only returning to the European Senior Championships, where she served as a training rival.
