Joel Ambide returned to the floor earlier than expected and helped the Sixers defeat Miami 79:99 • 94: 103 to the Mavericks over Phoenix in Game No. 3

The series has reopened.

Two games were played tonight (Friday through Saturday) as part of the NBA Playoff semifinals, and in both of them the arrangement shrank to 2: 1 over Philadelphia's wins over Miami and Dallas over Phoenix.

Philadelphia - Miami 79:99

The Heat, who have already risen to a promising 0-2 in the series, saw tonight that the Sixers also have a charm at home.

Philly is back in the series, and not least thanks to someone who was not supposed to play tonight at all, or even return this season.

Joel Ambide, who suffered a concussion and fracture in the eye socket and was helped by a special mask on his face, got on the floor again and helped the team win Game 3 with 18 points and 11 rebounds in 36 minutes.

The hosts were superior to Miami throughout the game, but a 13: 0 run put a lot of pressure on Philly, with the difference shrinking to just a point.

But in the final quarter, Tyrese Maxi woke up, scoring all 21 of his points in the second half - and leading the Seacars to their record lead - 20.

Danny Green added 21 of his own (7 of 9 for three), James Harden finished with 17. In the losing ranks stood out Jamie Butler with 33 points, and Tyler Hiro the substitute (14).

Dallas - Phoenix 94: 103

Chris Paul, the star of the Suns in the series, celebrated his 37th birthday with a loss to the Mavericks, who returned home and won for the first time in the series.

Dallas dropped nine points to the first quarter, to a break with seven and in the third had already climbed to their record advantage - 18. Later on the runner-up managed to shrink a bit but that no longer helped her achieve the turnaround.

Paul (12 points) lost seven balls and recorded a negative record in the playoffs, Devin Booker with five losses of his own finished with 18 points.

Jay Crowder led the Suns with 19 points and 5 assists.

On the winning side, Luka Doncic of course shone with 26 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists.

Jaylen Bronson led with 28 of his own and Reggie Bullock assisted with 15.
