Julian Nagelsmann does not expect any reaction from the Bayern stars to the trip to Ibiza - he speaks of good discussions with Robert Lewandowski.

Munich – Julian Nagelsmann couldn't help but smile slightly.

The FC Bayern Munich coach finally had the tedious discussion about his stars' trip to Ibiza behind him.

"Our players are all old enough and come of age and are very welcome to decide what they do on their days off," said Nagelsmann at the press conference before the game against VfB Stuttgart.

"If they decide to fly in a very large group, then let them do it.

They're old enough, I'm not their dad or tutor.

The players can use the days off as they want,” said Nagelsmann.

FC Bayern: Nagelsmann expects victory – but no reaction to the trip to Ibiza

VfB Stuttgart, threatened with relegation, will find out on Sunday (5:30 p.m. / DAZN) whether the Bayern defeat and subsequent Balearic tour is really good news for an opponent.

Especially since the Munich champions are under special observation after criticism from Hertha coach Felix Magath.

"I don't expect any reaction to the Ibiza trip," Nagelsmann said.

"We're trying to win our last home game in front of a full house on the day we get the trophy."

After the traditional South German hit, the championship will be duly celebrated in front of 75,000 fans.

Incidentally, captain Manuel Neuer will be presented with the bowl for the first time by the new DFL Managing Director Donata Hopfen.

A week later, the historic tenth championship in a row will be celebrated in detail at Marienplatz.

FC Bayern: Süle not planned for the starting eleven when saying goodbye

It is important to catch up with the fans "what was not possible in the last two years.

We won the titles in empty stadiums," recalled Benjamin Pavard, who recently improved.

Meanwhile, master trainer Nagelsmann doubts his physical condition with a smile.

"I'm happy when we get the bowl," said the Landsberger and joked.

"I think I've got what it takes to pick her up.

Maybe I'll do a few more stability exercises to make sure it's safe."

In addition to the championship trophy handover as a major highlight, FC Bayern will say goodbye to Niklas Süle after five years together.

"We try with the squad planning that every player gets the right framework," promised Nagelsmann.

Süle, whose appearance in Mainz Nagelsmann described as a "treat", should not be used against VfB Stuttgart.

Will Robert Lewandowski also say goodbye to the Allianz Arena?

Robert Lewandowski: Last home game for FC Bayern against VfB Stuttgart?

Despite all the speculation, Nagelsmann expressed confidence that Bayern fans will not see Lewandowski's last home appearance.

Salihamidzic had ruled out a move this summer anyway, but we all know how quickly things can change in this business.

Lewandowski's contract expires on June 30, 2023.

Bayern management and Lewandowski's advisors recently met for negotiations.

"I asked if it was a good conversation.

That was it," said Nagelsmann.

“But there is nothing to report, in any direction.

My status hasn't changed, that we definitely want to keep it and definitely want to extend it."

The contract extension of Müller (32) as a "top performer and symbolic figure" could "certainly also involve others," assured Nagelsmann.

Bastian Schweinsteiger did not leave the contract extension uncommented either.

In addition to Lewandowski, Serge Gnabry and Manuel Neuer are also candidates to be included.

Their contracts expire in 2023.
