The 28th Kraillinger Duathlon takes place on Sunday.
The former slalom vice world champion Fritz Dopfer will be there.
Registration is still possible.
Krailling - It is well known that triathletes are tough.
Your sport is not considered one of the most strenuous for nothing.
In addition, as outdoor athletes, they have to defy wind and weather.
Therefore, the hard-working helpers in the preparations for the 28th Kraillinger Duathlon from the triathlon department of the TV Planegg-Krailling around department head Maximilian Wechner had a good laugh, even though they were caught in the rain and hail showers while loading the bike racks.
More than 200 registrations, including Fritz Dopfer and some top duathletes
All work for the event on this Sunday has now been completed.
"We were able to recruit enough helpers and the weather should be good," says chief organizer Wechner.
If you want to take part at short notice, you can still register on Saturday (4 to 6 p.m.) or on Sunday morning (until 8.30 a.m.) in the start and finish area at the building yard (Fischerfeldstraße).
So far, 203 people have registered, including the former world-class skier and slalom runner-up Fritz Dopfer, who will take part in the relay race.
The top six of the men's field from last year are also back at the start.
Wechner is hoping for high-class South Bavarian championships, a fun folk duathlon and lots of spectators.
