The English football world is turbulent.
According to a report in the Sun, an international footballer was blackmailed last year, after having slept with a transsexual prostitute several times. The same girl unknowingly videotaped the actor, as well as kept text messages, before using it to demand him pay £ 30,000.
After initially paying that amount for fear that his picture would become public, the actor later went to the police.
However, the case was eventually closed because he did not want to give the required evidence, for fear of being exposed.
The incident was revealed in a report by the Sun, who decided not to reveal the identity of the player, who only stated that he is a "familiar name" who plays for the Premier League club and the England national team.
The Sun explained that the footballer contacted the transgender woman before the surgery after finding her profile on an escort site.
He visited her on several occasions and allegedly paid £ 150 for sex in April 2021.

"No one knows if the actor knew the woman was transgender, but he was desperate for her to shut up as soon as she threatened to expose him," a Sun source explained. "They were eager to gather evidence that extortion was a serious crime."
The source told the famous newspaper: "But the footballer really feared that his name would be published and this would lead to abuse by the fans. He just wanted to bury it so, despite the efforts of the police, he refused to cooperate. They had to see his mobile phone messages and bank transfers "So they had no choice but to cancel the case reluctantly."
