Landesliga: SE Freising again fails to impress at home in a 1-1 draw against Aiglsbach.

Freising – At least a draw!

The footballers of SE Freising did not get more than a 1-1 draw against TV Aiglsbach on Friday evening, but the series of four games without defeat continues.

Anyone looking for Alex Plabst during the half-time break on Friday could not find him in the Eintracht dressing room.

"That wouldn't have been healthy," Plabst justified himself afterwards, "otherwise ugly words would have been spoken." Plabst was too disappointed with the performance of his students, what the Lerchenfelder had shown during the first 45 minutes had little to do with state league football to do.

Sure, the TV Aiglsbach, which is acutely fighting for relegation, played what a team plays in this situation.

Lots of wide balls shaped the picture, Aiglsbach started, pressed early and ran for survival.

The guests didn't have the big chances either, but they were 1-0 ahead.

A free kick from Stefan Liebler from the right side was deflected by a Freisinger defender so unluckily, keeper Maximilian Oswald was already on his way to the other corner and therefore without a chance (21st).

"What Manfred Gröber and Stefan Liebler played offensively was an object lesson," coach Alex Plabst had to admit afterwards.

Simply because the rest of the Aiglsbacher Elf could not keep up the level, the Domstädter were only 0:1 behind.

At home, as the last appearances show, the Eintracht men can't get it going.

It was clear that the Freisingers would have to react.

On the one hand, probably on their own initiative, a speech from the trainer was not necessary after this performance with a bad pass orgy.

On the other hand, Plabst reacted and made four changes after less than an hour.

A measure that also bore fruit.

Because the second 45 minutes clearly went to Lerchenfelder, who were again weakened by replacements (co-trainer Flo Bittner was also absent due to illness), who now appeared far more committed.

Shortly after the restart, Robert Rohrhirsch and Luka Brudtloff (47') gave them a double chance to equalise.

But when the Freisingers were about to turn the tables, a first blow followed.

A penalty was awarded after keeper Maxi Oswald fouled Manfred Gröber, but Stefan Liebler missed the shot (63').

Increase in the second half

This gave the SEF another tailwind before the next setback followed.

After repeated fouls, Sebastian Thalhammer had to go down with yellow-red (72').

But even with a man less, the Freisingers didn't let themselves be deterred in this second round.

They finally forced the equalizer with one of the last actions.

Daniel Zanker, who was ordered to the center of defense after the traffic light card, suspected the great cross from Robert Rohrhirsch from the half field, rose to the top and nodded to equalize (90+1).

"In the end, our commitment paid off, a draw that was not undeserved," concluded Plabst.
