PSG-Troyes: Mbappé under threat of suspension

2022-05-08T11:43:24.419Z

In the event of a yellow card this Sunday evening against Troyes (8:45 p.m.), the Parisian striker will miss the reception of Metz for the 38th and last game.

In the end-of-season soap opera and the uncertainty surrounding the future of Kylian Mbappé, this is a detail that is not necessarily one: in the event of a yellow card this Sunday evening against Troyes, the striker Parisian will be deprived of the match of the last day at the Parc des Princes against Metz, on May 21.

Mbappé already has two warnings, March 20 in Monaco and April 17 against Marseille.

But if he collects a third this Sunday he will be automatically suspended for having received them in a period of ten games.

This season, he had already missed two matches for this reason for accumulated yellow cards: in Lorient on December 22 and then in Nice on March 5.

If Mbappé is warned by Mr. Brisard this Sunday he will be able to travel to Montpellier next Saturday - unlike Neymar suspended him for the trip to Hérault - but he will therefore be deprived of the meeting for the 38th day.

However, as long as we do not know if he will extend the adventure in Paris or if he will join Real Madrid, we can consider that the match tonight will be his last with the jersey at the Park.

Kylian Mbappé should, in any case, be cautious in terms of discipline, especially as he is still looking to win the titles of top scorer and best passer.

He currently leads both rankings with three goals ahead of Ben Yedder and Terrier and two more assists than Messi.

He will be able to count, this evening, on the help of the Argentinian finally in the group in spite of costal pains.
