After seven league wins and nine games without defeat, TSV Brunnthal was hit.

After the 2:4 (0:2) against SB Chiemgau, a win is needed to stay up.

Brunnthal

– The series is over.

After seven league wins and nine games without defeat, TSV Brunnthal was hit.

After the 2:4 (0:2) against an ice-cold SB Chiemgau, they still need a win from the last two football games for the final step towards staying up in the first state league year in the club's history.

With seven wins in a row, TSV Brunnthal had shot itself out of the relegation zone, but another three would have been necessary for the mathematical security of the future in the Landesliga Südwest.

Under this premise, the home game went like the last several 1-0 victories of the Green-Whites.

Brunnthal was defensively good in a classic 50-50 game with few chances for either side.

In the past few weeks, we have been lucky enough to catch the golden moment to make it 1-0.

This time, fate mercilessly ensured equal justice with a double hit from Traunstein just before the break.

Both times the guests marched forward on the right attacking side.

At 0:1 (43,) the longtime regional league top striker Danijel Majdancevic (once 1860 Rosenheim) finished ice cold.

Three minutes later, the home side didn't take the cross far enough out of harm's way and Kenan Smajlovic scored from the edge of the box.

After the change of sides, the Brunnthaler pushed more and had a good first chance when Luis Fischer, who had been so outstanding recently, failed at the keeper.

Shortly thereafter, Kenan Smajlovic scored the third goal in Traunstein – and what felt like a decision.

But the Brunnthal fighters could not be persuaded to give up, and a few minutes later the game got a second breath.

Marc Nagel was lucky in the 79th minute when the goalkeeper let his low shot slip through.

Luis Fischer then also scored his goal with a solo (85th), and after this 2:3 the hosts threw everything forward again.

This time, however, Brunnthal was not as lucky as in the past few weeks.

Deep in injury time, TSV conceded another counterattack to make it 2:4.

It was a shame to lose, but the green-whites will quickly take the crown to get a win from their last two games.

TSV Brunnthal:

Geisbauer - Kornbichler (46th Deibele), Neulinger Richter (8th Fischer) - Degel (58th Diller), Klepsch, Nagel, Reinisch (64th Herterich), Brunner (74th V. Klaß) - Porr, J .class

Goals

: 0: 1 Majdancevic (43rd), 0: 2 Smajlovic (45th + 1), 0: 3 Smajlovic (62nd), 1: 3 Nagel (79th), 2: 3 Fischer (85th), 2 :4 Helic (90+4).
