The management of the Football Association met this morning (Sunday) to approve the appointment of Alon Hazan as coach of the Israeli national team.
As expected, the appointment was approved with the support of the association's chairman, Oren Hasson, when the official preparations for the League of Nations games next month in the games against Albania and Iceland will begin.
Hazan will now begin building the professional team he will work with.
Alon Harazi is expected to be appointed assistant coach, with Itai Zilpa a candidate to arrive as goalkeeping coach.
Eran Shado is expected to fill the position of fitness coach, with Yossi Benyon leading the team, who will be responsible for selecting the staff, promoting the players from the young team, including Daniel Peretz, Liel Abda and Eden Kartzev, whom Hazan knows well and came with them to the Euro Euro playoffs.
