The 36th round of the Italian league culminated tonight (Sunday) with a game of the leading AC Milan, which saw Inter pass by, but returned to the top with 1: 3 in Verona.
The bottom provided tremendous drama, with Cagliari rescuing 1: 1 against Salernitana in the 99th minute and both Venice and Dor Peretz are still alive after 3: 4 in extra time against Bologna.

After Inter had already won on Friday and passed them at the top, AC Milan faced a not-so-simple hurdle in the form of Verona making a beautiful season and enjoying a great season from Gio Simeone.
But Milan also has its own ace and its name is Sandro Tonali.
Two weeks after scoring a winning goal in extra time against Lazio, the 22-year-old great midfielder arranged for the Rossoneri a makeover and another week at the top with a critical win.
David Frauni stunned AC Milan with Verona's 0-1 win in the 38th minute.
But Raphael Lao cooked for Tonali the equalizer just seconds before the break whistle.
Five minutes after the break Tonali completed a makeover from another Lao excellent cooking, when twice he pushed close after a great preparatory work by the Portuguese.
Alessandro Florenzi secured the win with a flat kick from the edge of the box (87).
Milan are again 2 points ahead of their city rival, with only two rounds left to the end of the season.
In the next round, Milan will host the strong Atalanta and end the season with Sesotho.
Inter have a meeting left against Cagliari who are fighting for their lives and in the final round will host the weak Sampdoria.

After winning just once in the last six league games, the team from Bergamo has scored three precious points in the battle for Europe.
Luis Muriel put the visitors ahead in the 16th minute, Daniela Verde equalized for Spezia in the 30th minute.
Towards the end Atlanta opened burners with two goals that secured the three points.
Brat Gimshiti returned the lead to his team with a shot on goal in the 73rd minute, Mario Peshalich closed a story in the 87th minute.
Atlanta is ranked seventh leading Europe, and is between Rome and Fiorentina who will meet in second.
On the other hand, the endless Podgorano specia left out of the squad can still not celebrate staying in the Premier League.

What a drama in the direct underground battle.
Davida Nicola's side were on track to continue their impressive bout and celebrate a fifth victory in six games, but in the ninth minute of extra time substitute Daniela Basley picked up a corner kick and Giorgio Altara slammed the visitors' equalizer from Sardinia.
Simona Vardi gave Salernitana an advantage with a penalty in the 68th minute and immediately afterwards Frank Ribery and Boris Radonovich were sent off, and after a foul and unanswered penalties, the equalizer that kept the status quo came.
Salernitana above the red line and ahead by one point Cagliari and two by Genoa, with Venice also still with a slim chance of staying.

Venice - Bologna 3: 4
Dor Peretz came off the bench in the 80th minute and was on the pitch for what seemed like the team's final minutes before it officially relegated to Serie B, but in extra time the locals achieved their first winning goal since February 12 which set 3: 4 and left them a chance to stay In the league.
Thomas Henry (4), Sufian Keina (19, return ball after a penalty kick was repulsed), Matthias Aramo (78, Pendel) and Dennis Jonsson (90 + 3) secured the victory thanks to which the gap from a safe shore stands at five points.
