The series between the Miami Heat and the Philadelphia Sixers in the Eastern Conference semifinals in the NBA League would have already looked finished.
Miami won the first two games relatively easily, and without the injured Joel Ambed Philadelphia would have looked lost, with James Harden unable to pick up his ability.
But Philadelphia's chin recovered and returned to play (with a mask on) and reminded everyone why he is one of the most esteemed players in the league.
Philadelphia won both games at home and tied the series at a 2-2 record, but with all due respect to Philadelphia's Joel Ambed the hero of tonight's victory (Monday) was James Harden.
The star who arrived during the season in a trade to the Seakers, has so far failed to recreate the great performances we have become accustomed to seeing from him in the NBA playoffs in recent years, but tonight it has finally happened.
Harden scored 31 points tonight, along with 9 assists, and 7 rebounds, scoring 6 of his 10 shots for three - and no less important was the Philadelphia man in money time and scored a basket that actually dominated the game.

Ambide Pargan to Harden after the game.
"That's why we brought him in. Since he came here he's adapting and understanding what we need from him, usually it's running the game, and today it was just taking the ball and scoring. He's done it his whole career, that's why he's here.
The young and talented guard Maxi also complimented Harden: "Sometimes in playoff games the teams know each other so well that it's hard to make a basket from preparing exercises, so you need one-on-one players who can make a basket, and it was great to see Harden today."
In another matter, the league fined Philadelphia $ 50,000 after violating injury rules.
The Sixers did not announce in time the return of Ambide to Game 3, after they said they had failed to properly assess the player's speed of recovery.
