Sela, 37, who is currently ranked 395th in the world, who announced that this will be his last tennis season as a player, managed to enter according to his current ranking, after a number of retirements and the relegation of Russian and Belarusian players who will not participate.
Sela's last game was at the beginning of the year in the Australian Championship qualifiers, where he was eliminated in the first round, when only for his appearance in the tournament, he will receive a cash prize of 14,000 euros, which will increase to 20,000 euros if he wins and advances to the second qualifying round.
The last time Sela played on the red clay in the French capital was in 2018, when he met the Swede Elias Yamar in the first round and lost to him in the opening round, when he reached his peak in France in 2009 and 2015 when he qualified for the second round.
