Senior players who left and did not come in place of worthy replacements, injuries, coach changes, fan protests, home players who fell below their level, all of these things eventually led Maccabi Petah Tikva to relegation.
"A nightmare season, this is the worst team we've had in recent years," said Malabes.
All foreign players of the team will leave.
The loanees - Ido Shachar, Or Inbrom and Yoav Hoffmeister, will also each return to their groups.
And players with contracts such as goalkeeper Arik Janko, Eitan Azulai or Yarden Cohen, are arousing interest in other teams and it is not certain that they will continue.
Petah Tikva's plan is to do exactly the same thing they did three years ago in the national league: "We will promote home players from the youth team who will grow stronger, we will bring in some good players and we will return within a year," said Petah Tikva.
The Blues will also have to appoint a permanent coach, when there are quite a number of candidates, but it has not yet been decided on the identity of the coach who will be given the task of returning the team to the Premier League.
