Jukic, who was the leading candidate for the title, is ahead of Joel Ambide from Philadelphia for the second year in a row, who also last year was the leading candidate for the title alongside the Serb.
It was a great season for Yukic who averaged 27 points alongside 13.8 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game.
Despite Jukic's great ability his team Denver was stopped in the first round of the playoffs unable to the Golden State Warriors and lost to them 4-1 in a one-sided series.
An official announcement of his win is expected to come out within the next week.
