The intended contract extension with Robert Lewandowski is extremely complicated.
Most recently, the bosses were still optimistic on this matter.

FC Bayern: Lewandowski apparently "outraged" by the contract offer
Lewandowski's contract with FC Bayern Munich expires in the summer of 2023.
It is clear that the employment relationship should be extended prematurely.
However, both sides are still far apart in their ideas.
Bayern have submitted a first contract proposal to Lewandowski's advisor Pini Zahavi, as reported by the Spanish sports newspaper
Sport
from Barcelona.
It is a declaration of intent, as the paper continues to write.
Lewandowski is said to have been "outraged" by the contract offer.
Robert Lewandowski: Contract extension with FC Bayern is delayed due to salary and term
Lewandowski is therefore not in agreement with the contract period or the salary.
Bayern only offer a contract extension until 2024, possibly with an option for another year.
According to his own statements, the FIFA world footballer wants to play at the highest level for at least three more years and is demanding an extension until 2025.
Apparently, the salary expectations between the two sides also differ widely.
According to the
Sport
report , Lewandowski earns 15 million euros net per season, plus a bonus of up to five million.
The Pole allegedly hoped that a large part of the bonuses would be paid out in the future.
The Bavarians only want to adjust the salary minimally.

FC Bayern: Lewandowski advisor Zahavi will be present at the office this week
So there is a need for discussion.
That is why Lewandowski advisor Pini Zahavi will be summoned to the FC Bayern office for further negotiations this week.
According to Sport
, Lewandowski is
angry and no longer feels loved by the club.
Zahavi should once again make his desire to move to FC Barcelona clear.
Most recently, Lewandowski experienced a "magical day" off the pitch and celebrated a double birthday party before the Stuttgart draw.
FC Bayern is still relaxed about the Lewandowski cause and does not want to release the 33-year-old from his contract prematurely.
"We'll have the talks.
We've led a few.
And now we'll see what happens," said sports director Hasan Salihamidzic.
CEO Oliver Kahn emphasized: "We last saw it with Thomas Müller that we calmly extended the contract.
We are now doing the same with Robert Lewandowski, Manuel Neuer and Serge Gnabry.”
