TSV 1860 is already planning the new season after missing promotion.

After Rieder, Vrenezi and Skenderovic, Moritz Leitner should also return.

Munich

– Is TSV 1860 Munich facing its next transfer coup?

As the

Bild

newspaper reports, Moritz Leitner is said to be a "very hot candidate" for a return to Grünwalder Strasse.

The midfielder was trained in the youth department of the Munich Lions and is now set to return to his hometown club.

Leitner is currently under contract with the Swiss champions FC Zurich, but will be without a club from July and would therefore fit into Günther Gorenzel's savings plan.

Even if the former Bundesliga player would probably have to accept a drop in salary.

TSV 1860: Rieder and Vrenezi come from Türkgücü Munich

According to information from the

Munich Merkur

, the rumors are not unfounded and talks have already taken place.

So a return is possible.

Leitner would be the fourth summer signing of the lions.

Albion Vrenezi and Tim Rieder come from insolvent city rivals Türkgücü Munich and Meris Skenderovic from 1. FC Schweinfurt.

In addition, the rumors about Havelse talent Fynn Lakenmacher don't stop and Martin Kobylanski from promoted Eintracht Braunschweig should also be an issue on Grünwalder Straße.

TSV 1860: Does it work on the fifth attempt with the ascent?

After once again missing out on promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in the current season, the aim of the transfer offensive for next year seems clear: Köllner & Co. finally want to get promoted in their fifth year.

Before that, however, the lions will do everything they can to defend fourth place in the table next weekend.

A win on Saturday against Borussia Dortmund II is therefore a must.

Fourth place qualifies for participation in the DFB Cup.

The lions would be sure of extra income.

And this is what Gorenzel always needs for Leitner & Co.
