The Syrian judo team won four bronze medals in the International Peace Championship currently being held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, with the participation of eight teams.
The bronze medals for our team were achieved by the players Suleiman Al-Rifai, Moamen Mahfoud, Muhammad Qassem and Muhammad Ghassan Haiba.
It is noteworthy that our team is participating in the International Peace Championship within its long training camp currently being held in Iraq as part of the team's preparations for the Mediterranean Games scheduled in the Algerian city of Oran at the end of next June.
