This is the second year in a row that the European 3X3 Championships for women and men will be held in Tel Aviv, and next year the championship itself will be held in Israel.
This year and in the coming years, the one who will lead the team is Joaquin Schuchman (27), a player of Hapoel Eilat for the past two seasons.
Schuchman played for Israel's youth, reserve and Olympic teams, and later also appeared seven times in the senior team uniform.
These days, Schuchman has decided to take on a new challenge and continue his international career in the 3X3 team uniform and lead it to its ultimate goal - the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Schuchman, who attended a meeting of the basketball association with the team members, said: "For me, wearing the uniform of the Israeli team has always been and will always be a great privilege. In recent years I have watched dozens of 3X3 games from around the world. "We will build a strong and attractive team that will run together in the coming years and bring us achievements, with the ultimate goal being Paris 2024. I know it will not be easy, but we believe in our way and the possibility of making history in the industry."
The player had a successful season in the Hapoel Eilat uniform, he scored 9.7 points per game on average, and took 5.7 rebounds when he scored 35% over the arc.
