Jason Lavallee really hit the "mammoths" of EA Schongau.

It is now clear which league club the top scorer from Canada will switch to.

Schongau – After the news broke that Jason Lavallée would be leaving EA Schongau, the rumor mill simmered.

Is the Mammuts top scorer going to Peiting or EV Füssen?

It is now certain that the Canadian will move to the Oberliga, but not to the two aforementioned clubs.

The 26-year-old striker, who collected 54 points (33 goals, 21 assists) in 29 games in the past Bayernliga season, remains in the neighborhood.

In the future he will be on the ice for HC Landsberg.

Jason Lavallee moves to the major leagues

"We've watched Jason in a few Bayernliga games and had him on the ice for team training after the end of last season.

He's fast, snappy and has a great shot," Landsberg coach Sven Curmann praised the Canadian newcomer.

"I'm sure that he will also assert himself in a league higher.

The way the premier league is played suits him well," said Curmann.

"Jason also had offers from other top division teams, so we're very happy that he chose our offer.

He's a nice guy, but hard to stop on the ice towards the goal.

That's exactly what we want to improve up front for this season," says team manager Michael Oswald about Lavallée's commitment.

The Canadian is also in good spirits.

“I'm really looking forward to next season and to Landsberg.

I've already gotten to know some of the boys and I think we really have a good team together," said Lavallée, who is preparing intensively for the new season in his Canadian home country this summer in order to be able to start fit in the Oberliga.
