Dean, how does it feel to win a bachelor's degree?
"It's a lot of fun. I'm really excited, I'm after sleepless nights and it's great fun. I'm very proud of this championship.
- This is the moment you were waiting for when you arrived from Ashdod.
"Obviously, I came to the best club in the country which is Maccabi Haifa with the best players and we had a very good season. We played almost 60 games with a home stage in Europe and the feeling is great."
- You talked about the amount of games, you're not used to it.
"It's very hard and it's very exhausting. I did not know it before but really have the best team and all the conditions. It's a different season in terms of loads, it's not a physically easy season and you see it alone in the last month. Everyone sees the whole team less sharp and less fresh But the main thing was to take the championship. "
- In the first nine games in the league you did not win and there was a lot of talk about who should be the leading striker.
How to take the reins?
"The start was not easy. There are a lot of good players on the team and there was competition but I'm glad I took it upon myself. I told myself I would refrain, that I wanted to take it, and I'm glad I did. I work with Yaniv Levy - a personal mentalist for several years "And also with Danny Inbar as part of the group. When he was 15, David from Moshav Nehora played for Hapoel Ashkelon.
David was a conqueror in bundles and the academy in Ashdod marked him.

After a year without football, David came to a youth game against Hapoel Beer Sheva, scored a hat-trick and stunned everyone.
Those who were also amazed by the ability are senior coach Nir Klinger and Jackie Ben Zaken who were present in the team.
After this game, Klinger decided to give two appearances to the striker in the seniors, when he also started in the games against Hapoel Haifa and Hapoel Raanana.

How did it make you feel?

"The most comfortable for me is to play as a striker 9, this is where I feel best but that does not mean I can not play on the line. The coach will decide where my position will be."
- It was precisely in Europe that you managed to score from the start.
"I think Europe did well for all of us. We got very strong, physical teams at home, and the pace of the game was high. It was difficult but in some games we played very well. They said we made a bunker against Feyenoord and underestimated but here you see they are in the factory final. us".
Next season the championship will already be something to look forward to and also a home stage of the conference.
"We feel we can make the leap but first let's finish the season because there's another trophy."
- You said yourself that you are drained.
How will you manage to rise in the cup final?
"We really want to make a season of four titles, we will divide it properly, we will prepare and I trust the team to bring us fresh so we can have a season that has not been here for many years."

In the summer, during the negotiations, the striker's mother, Orly, the mother, who is the dominant figure in the striker's career, was also present at the crucial meeting.

While David was tearing up nets, behind the scenes a not-so-simple drama unfolded in the David family: the mother fell ill, and spends a lot of time in hospitals.

The climax came with the summons to the team, when on the day he was supposed to arrive for the gathering, Haifa and the members of the association received information about the mother's condition, and they wanted to make it easier for David and release him from the trip.
The pioneer heard about things and went to consult with the family herself, where he heard his mother asking him to go on the journey and so he did.
- Not many know, but you are going through a very difficult year on the personal side.
"Even within Maccabi Haifa there were some who did not know. I am going through a difficult period with my family. My and my family's dream was that I would take a championship. I wanted to be a part of it, and when I am a part of it my mother, and my family in general is a part of it."
- Is she involved in a career?
"Very. What I am today and where I got to is all thanks to my mother. I promised her I would bring her a plate, I talked to her all year about it and this championship is for her."
- How did you manage to play in this situation?
"It gave me a drive to succeed. All year I wanted for the fans, for me and especially for her, if not for her then for whom?".
- There was also the affair of the team, you were released because of her illness and in the end you asked to leave.
Tell us a little about what happened that day?
"It was not an easy day at all but I decided to go with the team. I was with my mother in the hospital that day and she asked me to go with the team and the whole family also asked. It was my dream to play for the Israeli team so after she asked it was clear I was going "I'm glad I did."
- And yet, how do you get through such a season that is an emotional roller coaster.
"It's not easy to come home from training in a situation like this but I had one goal in front of my eyes and that was to win the championship. The family helped me and the team helped me succeed in that and I am glad the goal was achieved but we have another goal this season and for me it is not over."
- Dudu Dahan Your agent specializes in taking players abroad, already thinking about it?
"Obviously this is my dream but I have a contract for more seasons and I'm really good at Maccabi Haifa, there is currently nothing to talk about here
" , Where was the point of change also in terms of numbers.
"I always knew how to score goals, at first I had a bit of a hard time but I always believed in myself and my abilities, like I said I also took people to help me mentally. During the week I try to work a lot on endings."
- 15 goals does it satisfy you?
"It's a very nice number but I think I can do more."
- This year it is hard to believe that you will pass Noble Omar in the two remaining games, but next season the ambition is also to be the top scorer?
"It's always my ambition and goal but there are very good players in the team who help me and I help them and it doesn't matter who scores and who cooks, it just matters that we win."

- Where did the nickname Dinda come from?
"My cousin used to call me that when I was a teenager, but when I came to Maccabi Haifa it came up again. The truth is that I like that nickname and everyone in the team calls me that."

"We are good friends and talk a lot. I strongly believe in him and think he will come, he is still young but he will come I have no doubt."
- Will Maccabi Haifa win the cup?
