The criteria for international missions continue to reach the Union Cup in swimming, and today (Thursday) it was swimmer Dennis Loktev who secured his place at the World Championships, which will be held in Budapest on June 18.
Loktev already set in the qualifiers of the 200 free 1: 48.94 minutes, fast by 26 hundredths of the time it takes.
Also in the qualifying round, the young Okan Goldin broke the Israeli record for 15-year-olds in the 50-meter backstroke, setting a time of 26.83 seconds and improving by 49 hundredths the previous record.
Another quick result was achieved by Chris Pitchogen in the 100 breaststroke, when he qualified first with 1: 00.96 minutes, only 17 hundredths of Itai Goldfaden's Israeli record.
