FC Bayern made the first transfer of the summer perfect!
Noussair Mazraoui is moving from Ajax Amsterdam to Säbener Straße on a free transfer.
Munich – It has been speculated for a long time, now the change seems perfect!
FC Bayern have signed Noussair Mazraoui from Ajax Amsterdam.
Bayern sports director Hassan Salihamidzic confirmed
a corresponding report by
kicker on Wednesday, subject to the last details to be clarified.
"We're on our last legs.
It looks very good," said Salihamidzic to the Munich Merkur and the tz: "He's the type of player that was wanted by all of Europe.
We are very happy that he has decided to go with us in the next few years.
There are still a few things to do.
But he is a player who will help us and strengthen our team."
FC Bayern: Transfer perfect!
Noussair Mazraoui joins from Ajax Amsterdam
The right-back is the record champions' first summer transfer.
Mazraoui comes to Säbener Straße on a free transfer and has a four-year contract there until 2026. The twelve-time Moroccan international has made 24 appearances for Ajax in the league (five goals, two assists) and eight times in the Champions League (two assists).
Mazraoui is a right-back but can also play in midfield.
However, the 24-year-old should close the position at the back right, because Benjamin Pavard should move more into the center in the future.
FC Bayern: First Mazraoui transfer, then Gravenberch?
The 24-year-old right-back is a client of the agency of the recently deceased player's agent Mino Raiola.
FC Bayern Munich first asked the Italian about Mazraoui's team-mate and midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, but then also about the right-back during the talks.
Mazraoui preferred FC Bayern to FC Barcelona, according to reports.
The 19-year-old Gravenberch is another new signing from Munich.
At first, however, the transfer apparently still fails because of the transfer fee.
Salihamidzic did not go into detail about Konrad Laimer, currently under contract with Leipzig.
He was also recently associated with Bayern Munich.
“He is a player from RB Leipzig.
In principle, we do not comment on professionals who are under contract with other clubs, ”said Brazzo.
