It becomes a (good) habit.
As in 2017, 2019 and 2021, Paris FC will play a decisive last day of the championship at home for the play-offs.
The only difference is that in other years, the Parisian team played its qualification on this final match.
There, it has been acquired for several weeks already.
But against Grenoble (14th), it will nevertheless be necessary to win to keep 4th place in order to have the advantage of receiving Sochaux
(5th tied but with 4 goals behind in goal average
) from Tuesday May 17 during playoff 1 The dams, resembling a small obstacle course, would already avoid the fatigue of a first trip.
“It wouldn't be a disaster either, but of course it would be annoying to be on the Gare de Lyon platform on Monday afternoon leaving for Montbéliard.
We hope to meet again Tuesday morning as usual next to Charléty and have the advantage of playing at home”, smiles Thierry Laurey who, like last week in Amiens, must find the right balance between building a high-performance team to beat Grenoble in front of his public while already preserving players for the marathon of the dams.
Four are under threat of a new yellow card, which would deprive them of the first match of the possible double confrontation against the 18th in L1.
“We were the best team in fair play and in two games we have just taken seven yellow cards, some of which are quite surprising and four which come out of nowhere, Laurey annoys.
We must have become thugs in two games, I think… We must avoid losing injuries on the way and give some playing time back.
We have to think of everything.
For the past 15 days, we have been preparing differently with a view to these dams.

Offensive returns that feel good
The good news is that, as Laurey says, “the group is finding material”.
Apart from the unfortunate Kanté (Achilles tendon rupture) and Diaby Fadiga (rehabilitation), it's been a long time since we've seen so many players in training.
Injured in an ankle while scoring the 3rd goal against Sochaux on February 26 (3-1), Lamine Gueye, whose season was thought to be over, should be able to return for a few minutes against Grenoble.
Alamami Gory has made an interesting return to Amiens.
"He brought us his dynamism," explains Laurey.
We will also give some playing time to Gueye.
It's been a while since we've been able to play with our lane players.
With them, we will be able to find a playing time that adapts well to the qualities of our workforce.

The ideal scenario would, of course, be to take cover quickly so as not to draw too much on the reserves for Tuesday… But Grenoble, undefeated for five games, will not yet be on vacation.
“They will not come to us to do their shopping on the Champs-Élysées, warns Laurey.
They are taken very seriously, they are fit and difficult to maneuver.
Last week, they could have beaten AC Ajaccio (1-1).
We will have to show desire and character.
I said at the start of the season that there were two big favourites, Toulouse and Auxerre.
We could at best envisage a third place.
Ajaccio had a fantastic season, there is a surprise guest and we find ourselves 4th today.
We have 67 points which is unheard of for a 4th, we have won 19 games, we have the 3rd attack,
the 4th defense… We had some difficulties at times and whatever happens, I believe that today, we are in our place.
Mahamé Siby, touched in Amiens and Axel Bamba who has just resumed, are preserved for the barrage on Tuesday.
