Italian international full-back Ange Capuozzo, who previously played in Grenoble, in Pro D2, has signed up until 2025 with Toulouse, the Top 14 club from Haut-Garonne announced on Friday.
"I am very happy to open a new page by signing for Toulouse," the 23-year-old said in a statement.
“I feel tremendously excited as this change in my personal and professional life approaches.
I wanted to sign with a club that would allow me to surpass myself and I think I have chosen the ideal place for that”.

Born in Isère, Capuozzo was trained at FC Grenoble, with which he finished top scorer in Pro D2 during the 2020-2021 season.
This very good raiser honored his first two selections with the Italian team last March, bringing on an individual feat the test of victory in Wales (22-21) during the last day of the Tournament of the six nations.
“Like a certain Vincent Clerc, also from Grenoble, Ange has the ideal profile to play at the Toulouse stadium,” commented the president of the Rouge et Noir Didier Lacroix.

Despite the announced retirement of Maxime Médard, Capuozzo will face stiff competition at Toulouse next season at the back with French internationals Thomas Ramos and Melvyn Jaminet.
