Summary of the EuroCup final - Virtus Bologna wins the Stock Exchange (Sport 1)
While Maccabi Tel Aviv's head is already deep inside the Premier League playoffs, Tyler Dorsey is preparing for the Euroleague Final Four.
The Yellows ex, who has become one of Olympiacos' standout scorers on his journey back to Europe's big four, hopes his team will surprise reigning champions Anadolu Zero in the semi-finals on Thursday, and from the top of his seat - in case you were wondering - he will not be missed.
"When I left the NBA and signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv, it was a default. It all happened in the 90th minute, and I think the squads of Panathinaikos and Olympiacos were already closed so they could not sign me," he revealed today (Friday) in an interview with Greek media .
"Maccabi Tel Aviv came up with an offer, and it happened at a late stage when I no longer had so many other offers. I may have had to come to Greece before, but when my agent asked Olympiacos or Panathinaikos if they were interested in me, they no longer wanted to."

Asked about the differences between his ability in Greece and his ability in Israel, Dorsey explained: "Every season is different from its predecessor. Of course it takes a lot of luck, but our team is very successful this season. We avoided significant injuries along the way, and everything connected. I'm not sure what the difference is. "I know that every season looks different, every coach is different, and you always have to adapt. I know one thing - since I moved to Olympiacos, I'm happy."
Dorsey is considering returning to the NBA at the end of the season, but admits: "I'm happy at Olympiacos. It's the best year of my career, and the decision to come here has been fantastic. Coach Bratzocas gives me confidence and believes in me, a great team has been built here "The decision to join at the right moment, it came out of nowhere, but it certainly paid off for me. I am in an ideal moment in life and career."
