Liverpool won the FA Cup for the eighth time in its history, after beating Chelsea today on penalties, after the original and extra time of the match ended in a goalless draw.

The match, which was held at Wembley Stadium in the capital, London, witnessed the exit of the Liverpool attacking star, Mohamed Salah, injured in the first half.

The two teams had several chances to score during the match, but it did not result in goals.

In the penalty shootout, Milner, Thiago, Firmino, Arnold, Gota and Tsimikas scored for Liverpool, while Sadio Mane missed one of the kicks, while Alonso, James, Barkley, Jorgino and Ziyech scored for Chelsea, while Azpilicueta and Monte missed two penalties.

Liverpool has maintained its hopes of winning an unprecedented quartet of titles this season, as it still has hopes of winning the English Football League, as well as qualifying for the Champions League final.

It is noteworthy that Liverpool won the League Cup at the expense of Chelsea and also on penalties last February.
