2nd league: Bremen is promoted to the Bundesliga, HSV has to play against Hertha BSC in the relegation
After second division champions FC Schalke 04, who had the upper hand 2-1 in Nuremberg on the last day of the game, the second Bundesliga club that had been relegated from the previous season managed to be promoted directly.
Meanwhile, Hamburger SV can still hope for promotion.
After being 1-0 down at the break at Hansa Rostock, Hamburg turned the game around and won 3-2.
In the second half, HSV scored three times and can finalize the leap into league one through relegation.
Opponent there is Hertha BSC.
On the other hand, SV Darmstadt 98's dream of promotion was shattered.
Even a clear 3-0 win against SC Paderborn didn't help the lilies.
Darmstadt was no longer able to displace Hamburg from third place due to the significantly worse goal difference.
2nd league: Dresden wants to stay up in the relegation against 1. FC Kaiserslautern
In the other games, the Erzgebirge Aue, who had previously been relegated, won 1-0 at Dynamo Dresden.
The Dresdeners can still stay in the 2nd league because of the relegation against the third in the 3rd league (1. FC Kaiserslautern).
In addition, tail light FC Ingolstadt lost 2: 3 at Hannover 96.
1. FC Heidenheim defeated Karlsruher SC 2-0.
SV Sandhausen won 3:1 against Holstein Kiel.
FC St. Pauli beat Fortuna Düsseldorf 2-0.
